Did I mention that I bought a new pair of jeans last month and it was size 30? This afternoon, I went to PAGASA market to get a pair of slacks tailored for me and it really shocked me to know that my waist now measures 31 (I think an inch goes for the bulge haha!). Frustrating but as the Arabs would usually say “What to do yani?!” So I guess I’ll just accept the fact that I’m no more the young Mitch before who had a 23 waistline LOL!

I used to shop my clothes from Tutuban/Divisoria way back but now that everything is sold online, I don’t have to spend 3 hours just to go to Manila and get the things needed. This also goes to party favors. I remember buying my friend’s wedding favor materials from the same place and had to squeeze myself in the crowd. So thankful I don’t have to do that for Erchelle’s baptismal favors. I’ve already found the shop online where I’ll order her giveaways. No long trip. No queues. No crowd. Just one click and few email convo and it’s done!

Today, she turns 8 weeks. Seems like yesterday when I posted our birthing story huh? She now weighs 3.4kgs. Thank God! She’s now got chubbier cheeks and skin folds. Her muscles are firm (maybe bcoz of the baby massage that we give her everyday, I doubt she’d even need a firming face cream when she enters adulthood). She also responses and turns her head to familiar voices she hears around her. She squints at times. According to the oldies here it is a sign that she’s soon to have a clear vision.

I’m really grateful that I am given this set-up to work on a part/flexi time basis. However, I’d still want to have a sched for everything. I plan to work in the morning from 8am to 12nn, go home and attend to the girls’ needs. But at least, whenever I’m needed, I can always leave the office for as long as my duties are attended well. With this new routine that I am going to have, I’m sure I won’t even need the best fat burner offered in the market!

However, practically speaking iPad is the right answer. Then, maybe I’ll surf the net and visit Orlando online through my iPad! LOL! In my dreams… Hmmmmm… wait, I remember someone promised me I could have this once it’s released. But since I am a very understanding wife, I’ll pass this time. Priorities first! Ate Deye is transferring to a more expensive pre-school and Christening for bunso is scheduled in May. So there, that explains well.

I badly need to buy new “pairs” of jeans. I’m eyeing for a pair of Hudson jeans, quite expensive compared to what I’m usually wearing but I thought it would be nice to reward myself after all those pregnancy struggles and weight watch moments. Yeah! I failed! I gained a kilo this month aaargh!

I was supposed to take her for ear piercing next week, but then I thought she’ll also have her vaccination that same day so I thought to give a gap in between. So there, I took her to her Pedia this morning and had her ears pierced. She cried at that moment, and after she was okay. I hope people will now recognized her as a girl and not a boy! Oh! And one good news, she now weighs 3.4kgs. So happy!
