Glad everything is found and could be purchased online now from weight loss supplements to party favors. Name it, and you’ll find it online! It is so convenient for busy people who do not even have time to fall in a queue just to pay for few items. Or, for people like us who do not frequently visit Manila.

I used to shop my clothes from Tutuban/Divisoria way back but now that everything is sold online, I don’t have to spend 3 hours just to go to Manila and get the things needed. This also goes to party favors. I remember buying my friend’s wedding favor materials from the same place and had to squeeze myself in the crowd. So thankful I don’t have to do that for Erchelle’s baptismal favors. I’ve already found the shop online where I’ll order her giveaways. No long trip. No queues. No crowd. Just one click and few email convo and it’s done!

This blog’s title will once again confuse you, but no worries, half of my time will still definitely be spent at home attending to my two beautiful daughters so I guess having the title/domain name unchanged is justifiable.

To cut the story short, I have accepted the job and will start on April 1. I’m supposed to join this week but because of the unfortunate turn of events lately (our househelp decided not to come back after claiming she was sick but in fact she lied!), I requested if I could start on the said date. By then, Deye’s schooling for this year is over and I’ll have an ample time finishing the paperworks I still have to finish plus maybe get used to the routine with our new househelp. I’m so thankful that we found a new one yesterday and the boss agreed and considered my request.

Of course, I’d still be with Deye going back and forth to school. By noon, I’ll sure be home for my kids, feed bunso and maybe get Deye ready for school like fixing her hair etc. Having a flexi time at work will allow me to do mommy duties too! At least if/whenever there are school events that I need to attend to, I can always squeeze it in and won’t have to worry of the work sched getting affected. I’m so grateful for this arrangement that my boss had given me. So thankful!

Someone’s bike is parked outside! I wish I could say “someone’s car is parked outside” very soon LOL! I’m not posting it because it’s new. It’s not. It’s already a 1 y/o bike but since I don’t allow Deye to play outside our compound, she doesn’t get to play with it a lot. Now that the whole compound’s ground (please excuse unwanted things in the photo, construction is still ongoing) is cemented and more elevated in anticipation of floods (kitchen sinks are next. They need to be replaced, very badly. Water leaks and it’s not a good thing to put a tub under the sink literally. Stagnant water invites more mosquitoes in the house), she got excited to the idea of biking around our house.

Lately, she doesn’t show a good appetite. In fact, this lunch time I had to make a good deal with her which I’m sure she’d agree. “If you eat and finish your lunch, you can play with your bike outside this afternoon after school and even the whole weekend, if you like. That’s a promise!” Obviously, she compromised. So there, I gave her bike a good bath a while ago and parked it outside heehee! By the time she’s back from school, it’s already dried up.

I thought I was almost done and ready to claim my SSS maternity benefits only to find out that aside from the  MAT2 form I filled in, there are more requirements that should go with it. Good thing I dropped by at the SSS office this morning right after I got Erchee’s birth certificate from the hospital and was surprised to see a long checklist of requirements when I asked for the OB Score Form (I was hoping that’s the last thing I needed that I still didn’t have in hand, but I was wrong, there’s MORE):

Maternity Notification duly received by SSS prior to date of delivery.

Duly accomplished maternity reimbursement form (MAT2).

Certified true copy of birth certificate of child with birth order.

Xerox copy of SSS Digitized ID. If not yet available xerox copies of acknowledgment receipt (stub) of E-6 or any 2 valid IDs.

Official result of pregnancy test/ultrasound result before and after abortion.

SAHMone in MOMents! Sounds annoying (grammatically speaking) but really this is one MOMent I won’t forget ever! My blog will be featured in MOMents, a show for moms like me.

Two weeks ago (if I’m not mistaken), I received a message from a certain Anita Ramos in FB. Of course before saying yes to what she was offering, I did my homework first. Checked her FB account thoroughly after accepting her friendship request and replied to her. She said she had followed me in Kuro (a Filipino community forum which I moderate), chanced upon my other blog and finally been able to reach me through FB message. And the message was something like they want to feature me in their show but since I live 3 hours drive away from Manila, I said I couldn’t make it and besides my husband was coming home that time and I’m sure I won’t be able to leave and spend more than a day in Manila plus the fact that my two girls need me. So she gave me an option featuring me through my blog and discuss about things some other mommies might be interested to know. “That” I won’t tell.

…. rather back to online world! I have been offline for a while spending quality time with the family. Today, I’m officially back online completing the pending tasks I left for the last two weeks. I’m glad they are still very much existing.

We dropped my husband at the airport yesterday. It’s also a “back to work” for him today. He had called twice already this morning. He says he was already up at 5am his time. His body clock hasn’t adjusted as yet. We had a little chat about our princesses and discussed about our future plans (oh yeah that includes checking insurance online for us). This time we want to plan wisely and not just make a sudden decision just to be together. First on the list is to find a good stay-in nanny and we’ll see how it goes….
