I actually wanted this one and already made up my mind of buying it, but when I checked the delivery/shipping details, it says “Preorder items take one month to arrive from the date of order”. It’s too long, I thought. I couldn’t afford to carry her for long hours everyday. There has to be a solution. Erchee definitely needs a rocker aside from my arms cradling her till she dozes off.

On my way back home from the hospital to get the records for completion of my SSS maternity requirements, I went around the area and tried finding a rocker similar to what I saw online. Luckily I found one, not a good girly color but a good alternative/solution to my problem “nasanay sa karga at sayaw”. A lot cheaper too! I got it for P1,300 only. Though it doesn’t have an automatic rocking motion, sure thing it did put Erchee to sleep, calmly, quietly without cries.

I replied,

Hi, would love to but I dunno how I’d manage with two and work at the same time.

With his reply and offer, it made me think again,

Fine, maybe want to start part time? Can offer you Assistant Marketing Mngr.

Now I’m torn! He says I can work part time, with a flexi schedule and I can decide when to start the job. I’m so interested but of course I’ll have to see his proposal first if the price is right and offer is really not complicated with my mommy duties. I told my husband already and

I thought I was almost done and ready to claim my SSS maternity benefits only to find out that aside from the  MAT2 form I filled in, there are more requirements that should go with it. Good thing I dropped by at the SSS office this morning right after I got Erchee’s birth certificate from the hospital and was surprised to see a long checklist of requirements when I asked for the OB Score Form (I was hoping that’s the last thing I needed that I still didn’t have in hand, but I was wrong, there’s MORE):

Maternity Notification duly received by SSS prior to date of delivery.

Duly accomplished maternity reimbursement form (MAT2).

Certified true copy of birth certificate of child with birth order.

Xerox copy of SSS Digitized ID. If not yet available xerox copies of acknowledgment receipt (stub) of E-6 or any 2 valid IDs.

Official result of pregnancy test/ultrasound result before and after abortion.

People who know me personally, well, of course, are aware that I have a natural hair. I’d say I’m one of the many lucky ones who can manage their hair easily by tying it up with fancy trinkets or make a bun and clip it in a snap! But just like the rest, my hair also needs hair vitamins especially when a woman gets pregnant, hair tends to become so weak and some even lose their hair very badly.

Again, I’m lucky coz this time I didn’t go through that stage much. But…. but… but for a vain mommy like me? I need to get my hair done! ASAP! That reminds me to send a message to my OB tomorrow and check if I could do a hair rebonding as early as now. Now means this week. Well, at least before the husband comes home. Who wouldn’t want to look good? With all these added fats on me, of course I wanna look better. A lot better than how he had seen me 9 months ago.

Doctor says “No, not yet. Chemicals might affect your baby coz she’s still on breastfeeding”.

Okay. End of discussion. LOL!

Today, I received the diaper bag I ordered from Baby Couture through their local dealer here in the Philippines. I love its look. The bag design. The pattern. The compartments and most of all the size. It comes with a diaper changing mat and wipes holder.
