There was a time when my husband and I really took time believing in Networking a.k.a MLM or Multi-level marketing. Unlike other people who went succesful, well, we did not. The only reward we got from joining Gold Quest 10 years ago were the gold coins that we, after sometime sold it to one of the jewelery shops in Bahrain and made it into something else.
It’s not that I have already lost trust with people involved in MLM coz there are still some who really make money out of these networks, but honestly I’ve lost interest. I’ve just lost interest. Sad!

I sometimes think of going back to the virtual world. But just by thinking of the graveyard work schedule, I just know it’s not for me. I still remember the days when I had no bath coz despite the finished working hours, I had to do an overtime to give way to my sidelines.
The worst tasks I had ever done were building up blogs in a very short time, from personal blogs to insurance blogs. I also had to compose about pages with 5 entries in each blog. Those were really head turning! Right after I finished the 50 blogs that were assigned to me, I surrendered and never accepted such assignments.

Last Thursday, we picked up my brother from the airport and since everyone was coming, I had no choice but to drag Erchee with us.
The moment we reached Manila, she began crying! It was darn hot despite the turned on A/Cs, it didn’t help! During these times I wish I have an RV (read: RV from goodsamesp.com) or a van like what Kris Aquino and Toni Gonzaga has haha! Kidding aside, it’s really a hassle when you travel in a van with a baby, the space is so limited that you cannot even put her down comfortably.
Go Mitch! Keep on dreaming LOL!

May 26, past 1pm, MOA, SM Department Store. Toot toot! Toot toot! That was the sound of very busy barcode scanners. I religiously spent my time shopping for the girls’ needs. Clothes, school supplies, shoes, trinkets and socks. Guess what? It’s the first time that it happened that I did not get even the smallest thing for myself. Have I forgotten about it or have I just entered the reality of being a selfless mom.
I couldn’t say I had ran out of time coz I had plenty of time choosing stuff for them, yet, I didn’t buy even a single headband for myself which I usually first check when I go for shopping.
Good sign huh! My husband will be very happy then LOL!

The last pack of bunso’s diapers (Pampers) that my husband sent us is almost over. I already bought a big pack of the S size but wasn’t happy about it. We’ve been a Pampers’ user even during Ate Deye’s time but always used the ones coming from abroad. I practically and literally don’t like the Pampers here, the pads are only in the middle and it just doesn’t fit well for my kids. Well, those are just my thoughts…..
Anyway, I paid a visit to my friend’s house the other day and while catching up on things, we spoke about money saving. The mommyness within us naturally came out that it even lead us to diaper comparison (read : brand and cost). She mentioned that her youngest had been using Smile diaper since birth and so far she’s satisfied with it. She showed me a piece and I liked it especially the tape and the belt that is so soft and feels comfy. So I said why not try it for bunso. From there, I bought a small pack (4 pcs for only P25) just to give it a try.
