Since bunso was born, I only had few photos with her. So I thought it would be nice to take some with the little one and this time, it was Ate Deye who took the photos.

Bunso has grown bigger eh? Seems like yesterday when I announced my pregnancy in this blog. She is completing 3 months tomorrow and planning to buy a bilao of pancit and a cake maybe.

Taranta mode scene 1. In the afternoon, Ate Deye was asking for an iced tea while bunso was crying for milk. But this time was more challenging coz both were not feeling well and I felt like I had to attend them right away with no excuse.

Taranta mode take two. I just had bunso’s temp checked and it was 38.1. Of course, she didn’t want to be put down. She has got fever coz of the shot she had in the afternoon, that’s why she was cranky and crying out loud. On my right side was crying Ate deye, coughing. Knowing Deye she vomits when it’s too much so I anticipated the next scene. Girl scout that I was I would say, I kept an empty container beside me just in case she vomits, and she did. I was holding the container with my right hand. So imagine how it looked like?

Glad both are asleep now. I’m supposed to go to Manila tomorrow to meet the person from Dubai who brought the package sent by my in-laws but decided not to coz both the girls aren’t well. Hope both get well very soon!

We went to see Erchee’s Pedia this afternoon for her vaccine and monthly check-up. I also decided to transfer Ate Deye to the same doctor for convenience. Besides, Erchee’s Pedia is more reliable and can be contacted anytime. She explains everything well and entertains questions gladly.

Since Deye’s got cold and cough, I thought it’s the best time to also bring her record for her to see and scheduled booster for August.

While waiting for the doctor to arrive, I glanced at the weighing scale and weighed myself hahaha! Here’s our weight watch list:

Erchee’s weight: from 3.4 to 3.9 kgs.
Ate Deye’s weight: 15.9 to 16kgs.
Mama’s weight: 60 to 61kgs.

For the girls, figures look good to me but the last one? Ouch! In one month, I gained another kilo. Parang sanggol lang LOL! Anyway, it’s still okay. That only means I’m happy and well provided aight?

Baby massage is not only a healthy form of child care. It also gives emotional benefits to the babies. Sabi nga sa atin “haplos ng pagmamahal” matters a lot.

Infant massage is beneficial to the baby for relaxation and for stimulation, for pain and colic relief, and for increasing the interaction (bonding) between the baby and parents. Being massaged also helps instill an awareness of healthy, loving touch that continues through their lives.

erchee massageWhen I gave birth to Deye, I didn’t know about it. It was my mother-in-law who introduced it to me. She did the massage daily and I could say physically it really made a difference, it made her muscles firm. Deye started with her first steps just before she turned one and could walk on her own at 14 months.

Now, it’s my turn to do it to Erchee. My mom does it at times though when I’m busy with Deye. We do it before giving her a warm quick bath in the mornings. How ’bout you? Do you/Have you also do/done this to your babies?
