Bedtime blues
One of the many struggles that a working mom could face any day of the week is bedtime blues. My bunso tends to get more hyper during the evenings and refuses to go to sleep. This sometimes gets into my head especially when I still have to cook for dinner, assist my eldest in her homework and beat the deadline of my online tasks. I know she tries to get my attention but it does not always work as how she wants it to be.
When this happens, I normally find some ways to divert her attention to something else till I get everything done. During the past months, she has been fond of playing in my iPad but this worries me a lot. As much as possible, I don’t want my kids get glued on gadgets at a very young age. But you see, in every rule there is an exemption. I also give in but I make sure that whatever it is will also benefit them.
This weekend, I have my upgraded my iPad to iOS 5.0 and just learned that there are more added features when you do that. After it was done upgrading and uploading apps, I religiously spent time searching for interactive books for iPad. Hand me down
The good thing about having kids with the same gender is that you get to save on some clothes, toys and other belongings that are still in good condition. I, myself is one of the many mothers who religiously took care of their first child’s stuff so when the right time comes for the next one to use it, it can still be labeled as “good as new”. Here’s one of the many hand me down or preloved dresses from Ate Deye that my bunso, Ishi is now using.
