At 4, I could already see that Deye will be one typical shopper. Last Saturday, after their school activity, as promised, I took her to the mall and bought her a new pair of rubber shoes. My choice and her choice do not differ a lot. In fact, we have something in common when shopping. I, first take a round and see the things that would suit me, and if I see something nice that I really really like, I won’t mind going back to get it, no matter how far the distance of the shop is, I will surely take it. Deye is like that. She looks around and even drag me to a shop if she finds something cute for her.

I wonder what’s going to happen if we have this thing called Black Friday here in the Philippines. Haha!

I wish that getting a refund from school when your child hasn’t gone for weeks is as easy as getting an rv insurance quote online. Unfortunately, there’s no such refund so I guess I’ll just have to keep my eyes closed and not think of the fact that Deye had lost some days and opps for not going to school for so many days. In fact, I felt that she lost touch when she refused to perform last Saturday. She was okay, she knew her line and dance steps when suddenly she refused to do her part when it was their group’s turn. Oh well part of a pre-schooler’s life, tantrums and mood swings.

I could see that her relationship to other kids are also affected. Or maybe she’s adjusting again coz she hasn’t been out for quite a while. We attended her classmate’s bday party at McDonald’s this afternoon and just the same, she refused to participate in all the games. I just hope she’d cope up the soonest possible.

Since the day we moved to our own apartment, I noticed some changes. I have become a certified housekeeper making sure that everything is available in the house. From buying groceries up to some enamel cookware needed for the household, I look after them.When there are things to be repaired, I also make sure that things are taken care of. It isn’t easy but fulfilling when you manage your own household. It’s a different feeling. It is some kind of an achievement knowing you have something that you can call your “own” at least.

I hope someday, I’ll be a housekeeper of my own house, not an apartment but our own.

I was getting worried of Deye’s on and off fever, that’s why I’ve requested for a CBC and urinalysis from her Pedia. Yesterday, after office hours, I took her for her CBC and was only able to get her urine sample this morning. Thank God both the results were negative, no dengue and UTI! It’s just a common flu that she got. Now, I can blame it on the bad weather!

I’m also feeling so lucky that the Pedia we got is a very reliable one. In fact, she also gave me some prescriptions even I wasn’t there this morning. My niece was telling me that she handed her over a paper and told her that I should take those. Sweet eh?
