Mom tagged along Deye with her to the neighbor’s funeral this morning. After a couple of hours, as she was coming inside the house, she started with her kwento.
Deye : Mama, alam mo sabi nung isa dun sa lolo “Bakeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet?!! Huwaaaaaaaaaaaaah!” Tapos she was crying.
Me : O eh bakit daw?
Deye : Eh kasi nga maybe the lolo is patay na.

Since it was the same place where my grandparents were resting, mom, again along with her paid visit to their graves and she was like introducing them to her, lolo refers to my dad:
Mom : Eto mama ni lolo, eto dada ni lolo, eto uncle ni lolo, eto mama ko…
Deye : Ako wala?
LOL! Aba’t gusto akong patayin! Hahaha!

Deye : Mama, bakit si Manny Villar hindi pumapalit ng damit, always wearing orange shirt?
Then after few seconds it was Pacman and Willie Revillame shown on TV, also wearing orange shirts.
Deye : O! Pati si Pacquaio saka si Wowowee!!!
I just told her “maybe that’s their favorite color” LOL!

Deye : Mama, how did we get our names? Who give us our names?
Me : Our mama and dada. Mita & Lolo gave me and papa names. Dada & Mama gave you and Erchelle names.
Deye : Ahhhhh!

And the most sensitive question that I have not anticipated was:

Went to Deye’s school this morning to collect her report card. The figures really made me smile.
Final ratings are:
English 96.3
Filipino 95.06
Science 95.8
Mathematics 96.6
General Ave 95.9
And guess what? She ranked 6 in her class. Too bad only 5 were academically awarded. Now, that was so unlucky! But anyhow, I’m still one proud mother!
Another good news is she can now read small words like FOREVER. She just read it as FOR-RE-E-VE-ER. Not bad for a 4 y/o di ba?

Collected the tailored pants a while ago from PAGASA Market, that’s where I get the girls’ dresses tailored as well. Mind you, they are sized 31. *sigh* I hope I won’t need ellipticals in the future. I feel I’m getting bigger each day and when friends tell me I don’t look big and that I look okay, I know they’re just trying to be nice.
I wonder after how long can I do sit ups? It’s only been 2 months since I gave birth to Erchelle via CSec. I need to lose weight, if not at least get rid of the bulges I’ve been carrying. They just show off when I wear a pair of semi hipster jeans, and I don’t like it.

Deye can’t contain the happiness in this photo. Simply bcoz she got what she wanted. I have finally bought the pool that I promised her. Grabbed the chance when we went to MOA yesterday. It was a god timing that the summer items were on sale. I got this pool for only P1k. The original selling price was P1659.00.
