Choosing Baby Names had always been a serious task for me and my husband. For us, giving names for babies should be thought of well coz they will carry these for the rest of their lives.

That is why when we had our first born, we really gave an effort combining our names also considering our parents’ names. At 5 months we were lucky to know her gender, so we settled for Derelle Francella, here’s how we got it.

Us : Derrick + Michelle = D E R E L L E

Grandmothers : Francia + Estella = F R A N C E L L A

Yet, we were still open for the possibility that it could be a baby boy so we also prepared a name for a boy:

Us : Michelle + Derrick = M Y R I C K (Changed i to y to give it a little twist)

Grandfathers : Anthony + Fred = A N D R E I (added i to give it a style teehee!)

Luckier, I should call us, our first wish for a baby girl was granted. And that’s how we came up to Derelle Francella.
