While some for sure are enjoying their Orlando vacations, most of my kababayans here in the Philippines are still struggling and mourning due to the after flood effect of Typhoon Ondoy.
It’s so sad, really sad. Botolan and Olongapo residents haven’t even recovered yet from the past typhoons and there came typhoon Ondoy who victimized thousands of Filipinos in the country recently.
Guess what? At 7pm, it was reported in TV Patrol that another typhoon named ‘Pepeng” has already entered the Philippines.

Last Friday, there were no exam tables in my daughter’s classroom. They were stacked nicely in one side of the room. It was an irregular day for them. Half past 2pm, I went to check on them again and saw my little one dancing. I swear it was the first time I saw her dance that way, wiggling her butt with her hands up. I was giggling as I watch her. Akala ko nagmana na sa tigas ng katawan ko eh! LOL!
By the way, the dance I am talking about is in preparation of the pre-schoolers’ participation for their upcoming Sportsfest on Tuesday. There will be a parade on Tuesday at 7am with the school’s own drum & lyre performing for the first time.
Tomorrow is another irregular day for them from 8am onwards. I hope she gets up fast without a fuss!

I was supposed to gather information about life insurance quotes, but I thought of checking my Facebook and Plurk posts first. There, I read posts about Ondoy victims.
If you would like to help but couldn’t find a way coz you live far from Metro Manila, you sure still can donate through SMS. Here’s how:
Send RED (space)<5, 25, 50, 100 or 300> to 2899 (Globe) and 4483 (Smart)
Ex: RED 100
I just did. It’s not a scam or something. I’ve received a confirmation right away after sending my donation out:
Thank you for donating Pxxx.xx to Philippine National Red Cross. Trace No. 000xxxxxx.

You’ve got a heavyweight in your belly at 20 weeks pregnant (well, in baby terms, anyway). Your little champ weighs about ten ounces and has a height, crown to rump, of about six and a half inches. Think small cantaloupe (and probably as sweet too).
Is it a boy cantaloupe or a girl cantaloupe? You’ll be able to find out your baby’s gender via the ultrasound by this point.
But my OB says we’d do the U/S on my 6th month. I, in fact, want it a surprise this time but hubby would like to know the gender. We’ll see if Hardee would show it off!
