Who are the women you admire most and why? Maternal grandmother. I grew up with her around. For me, she’s the sweetest grandmother of all. She wakes me up every morning. Before I could even get up from bed, my hot water for bath is ready. She was always there for me, in any way. I remember one time when she deliberately removed half the amount of the rice that my father served me, while my father was having bath. She knew my capacity. And knowing my father who had been very strict on how much food I eat, for sure he won’t let me leave even a single morsel of rice on my plate. And my granny was very much aware of this. She did it coz she knew the possible consequence that my father would give me teehee!

My mother. I am now experiencing what she had experienced: the life of a stay at home mom married to an overseas working husband. And for this, I vouch her for her strength, understanding and loyalty to the family. She didn’t give up. I’ve seen how our family went through rough times but she never gave up. Instead she continued to be strong for the sake of our family. Let’s admit it, its’ the woman who exerts more effort to make one’s marriage work.
