Why Vaccinations Are Important

I was Rubella positive during my pregnancy with Derelle. My pre-motherhood world turned upside down. I cried a river. Unfortunately, My OB wasn’t in during the day when I got the lab report so I had to wait for few more days to read it. I was darn worried! I called my mom and told her “try to remember carefully if I had all the vaccine shots”. I even blamed her for not doing so. Well, that’s what I thought teehee!

Three days later, went to see my OB. I brought the report along with me. She said “yes, it’s positive but you are immune”. She explained everything and said that there’s’ nothing to worry about the baby. I didn’t pay attention to the rest of the details that she explained. The fact that she’s safe was enough for me.

So, imagine if I wasn’t immune? That is why I’m very particular with Deye’s shots. I make sure I don’t miss anything…

I am a HUGE believe in vaccinations! Why wouldn’t you if they can prevent serious diseases?
