I always remind Deye to “speak in English” in favor of my husband. Otherwise, if she’d continue and concentrate speaking in my native language, it’ll be a problem.

The other day, she was playing with my brother as if they were conversing over the phone.

My brother : Hello! May I speak with Deye please?

But Deye was quiet and didn’t know what to say, so I whispered to her ear:

Me : Say “speaking”….

She then said:

Deye : Speaking…. English!

Wahahahaha! She must have confused herself with the “speaking” and “speak in” hehe!

Do you tell your significant other everything about your worries? Now I do. But before, I used to keep something for myself especially if I know that he’d worry or get affected.

I guess our distance had changed my point of view. I now prefer to tell him everything, though sometimes I know it hurts or affects him. I believe that long distance relationship needs an open communication. It helps each other know what’s happening, bad or good, it does help.
