SAHM-one Friday Meme #1

Looking back the days when you were still single, how would you differentiate your life now? How do you keep up with your busy schedule every day?

Obviously, back then was much easier. I only have to think about myself during my free time. Things have changed since I became a mother most especially. Imagine when I was still a working mom abroad where no one else was there to help us out but just me and my husband.

Off days do not mean a free or “me” time for me. It’s more of an overtime. Do the laundry, look after my daughter, spend quality time and make it up to them. Week days always start as early as 6am, prepare her food to be taken with her to the nanny’s house, get her ready etc. Come home, play with her, take a break, then clean her up, prepare and have dinner, do some chores left from the previous day, after that comes the “me” time > sleep! Same thing happens the next day and the next day and the next day…

Now that I am a SAHM, life is more comfortable. I see her every time I want. I could take her out anytime and most especially I’m there when she’s not well, which I had missed for the past 2 years.

Since this is the very first week of SAHM-one’s weekly meme, I’m giving away EC points for the first 3 participants who will leave their blog URL in Mister Linky  and first 3 to post their answers:

  • First participant > 200
  • Second participant > 150
  • Third participant > 100

Not much but enough to say “thanks for joining“! Whoever you are, please leave a comment with your EC email address. :) Sorry for the late announcement, just sharing the blessings that I got from Posh Mama. :)
